The Kelpies are two 30-meter-high (98 ft) horse-head sculptures, each weighing over 300 tons. Inspired by the shape-shifting water spirits of Scottish folklore, they are located in The Helix park between Falkirk and Grangemouth, Scotland. Completed in October 2013, the sculptures were designed by Andy Scott and modeled in steel after two Clydesdale horses named Duke and Baron. The Kelpies are the largest equine sculptures in the world.

"The Horse Problem" was a sculptural installation by Argentine artist Claudia Fontes, presented as the official Argentine entry at the 57th Venice Biennale in 2017. The work depicts a colossal white horse suspended mid-air, its nose gently touched by a girl, while a young man crouches nearby. Crafted from marble dust resin and set amid 400 scattered white stones, the installation reflects the artist's meditation on the historical development of nations—with particular resonance to the complex narrative of her native Argentina.
